"LIGHTEN-UP"

A few weeks ago, I spent a few hours putting up Christmas lights inside and outside of our home. Everywhere you go you can see thousands of lights declaring it is the Christmas season. Although many don't realize it, every Christmas light points to the one true light - Jesus Christ - "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men," (John 1:4). This thought is helpful when attempting the difficult task of stringing lights and troubleshooting burned out bulbs, etc. Don't allow the busyness of this season to burn you out but rather lighten-up for Jesus is the Light of the World!
